The EXM 3000 nucleic acid isolation system is widely used in scientific research, clinical diagnostics, disease control and prevention, food safety testing, forensic science, and other fields. With the appropriate reagent kits from Zybio, it can rapidly extract nucleic acids from various sample types, such as whole blood, serum, plasma, throat swabs, secretions, exfoliated cells, urine, sputum, stool, and FFPE tissue. Extraction of nucleic acids from 32 samples can be completed within 9 minutes, significantly reducing PCR detection time.
The isolation system uses a magnet inside the experimental chamber to transfer magnetic beads adsorbed with nucleic acids into different reagent wells. The instrument is also designed for rapid and repeated liquid mixing using a magnetic sleeve to ensure uniform blending of components. After lysis, nucleic acid adsorption, magnetic bead transfer, washing, and elution, a highly purified nucleic acid product is obtained. The extracted and purified nucleic acids can be used for subsequent PCR amplification detection and for constructing second-generation sequencing libraries.
